the nehm

The Nehm is an absolutely foul creature. The live in underground swarms where they are constantly conducting painful procedures on other beings. They have been known to take children and kill them in front of the parents. They can reproduce in several horrible ways with other beings to create hybrids, but to create another Nehm is an even more revolting process.
See, the Nehms will take several corpses and mash them together to make a crude sculpture. Over time, after enough Nehm secretion is added, the mass of decayed flesh begins to merge and move. Then a more defined shape appears and eventually the dead pile rises on it's own as a fully-fledged Nehm.

This process guarantees that no two Nehms looks alike-having different elements and corpse parts integrated into their bodies. The basic blueprint is generally the same, but can alter slightly with mutation. There are special Nehm classes made for specific purposes in the swarm, but generally one only sees the basic Nehm.

As you may have guessed, the Nehm is the absolute evil-the only type of entity capable of slaughtering kmoos for recreation. Their numbers are currently in the billions and they are spreading throughout the land, terrorizing villages everywhere.
